Right Diagonal Rib stitch pattern - knitting in the round. Here’s one of my favorite knit and purl combinations.
Cast on a multiple of 6 stitches.
Rounds 1 - 4: * Knit 4, purl 2; repeat from * to end
Rounds 5 - 8: Knit 2, * purl 2, knit 4; repeat from * last 4 sts, purl 2, knit 2.
Rounds 9 - 12: * Purl 2, knit 4; repeat from * to end.
Repeat Rounds 1- 12.
