[Knit and Purl in the round] This easy-to-follow pattern produces a charming diagonal purl ridge fabric
  • Cast on a multiple of 10 stitches.
  • 10-round repeat.
    • Round 1 - right side: * Knit 5, purl 5; repeat from * to end of round.
    Round 2: Knit 4, * purl 5, knit 5; repeat from * to last 6 sts, purl 5, knit 1.
    Round 3: Knit 3, * purl 5, knit 5; repeat from * to last 7 sts, purl 5, knit 2.
    Round 4: Knit 2, * purl 5, knit 5; repeat from * to last 8 sts, purl 5, knit 3.
    Round 5: Knit 1, * purl 5, knit 5; repeat from * to last 9 sts, purl 5, knit 4.
    Round 6: * Purl 5, knit 5; repeat from * to end.
    Round 7: Purl 4, * knit 5, purl 5; repeat from * to last 6 sts, knit 5, purl 1.
